Discover the unknown, beautiful and tasteful Italy! This is the second part of our two-part series on some of the less explored regions of Italy. Our Italian HEI colleague, Mr Paolo Lorenzi, shares more of his favourite places and gives you some tips on where you can find authentic Italian culture while travelling in the Italian province. And host to one of the most important farming and livestock fairs in southern Italy, Barletta, an Antic port on the Adriatic coast known for its Disfida between the French and the Italians, its medieval architecture as well as its fine beaches, Bisceglie, a rural and seafacing town which rose in the 10th century as a result of the depopulation of Medieval Casali. Founded by the Normans, it is full of artistic churches and some beautiful Renaissance palaces. And Arezzo, one of the most important of the 12 cities of the Etruscans, which has managed, partly due to its position, to preserve the environmental and architectural character of its most ancient quarter.
