Mauritius is often referred to as the eden of the Indian Ocean, a destination which is 'out of this world'. Considered to be the most cosmopolitan of all the islands of the Indian Ocean. A haven for all creeds and influences harmoniously forming one of the most fascinating and rewarding holiday experiences. Africans, Indians, Chinese, British and the French have all contributed their finest rituals and customs to form the island of Mauritius today. From its rich fusion of culinary delights to the simple and romantic beach dances with their pulsating rhythms known as the Sega, all form part of this intriguing and colourful island.
The magnificent Hindu Temples and Oriental style gardens are a testament to the flavour contributed by the islands recent settlers. The natural beauty is perhaps the finest strengths of this island. The once active volcanoes, to the ever-flowing waterfalls, forests, lagoons, beaches, coral reefs a never-ending lists.

Your visit to Mauritius will linger on in your memory as an unusual mixture of scenes and experiences taken up here and there along the roads leading past mountains and deserted beaches. It will be a heterogeneous blend of Indian mystery and brightly transparent lagoons, the exuberant Creole character encountered in the market- place, the astonishing variety of deep-sea fauna, mysterious primeval forests with their exotic fragrances, and the delicious combinations found in Mauritian cooking, the excitement of water sports, and the charm of an incomparable hotel industry.

5 new Miyako hotels
We welcome five superb Miyako hotels in Japan; in Tokyo, Mie, Osaka and Okinawa.
The word "Miyako" has traditionally been used to describe the imperial palace. Today, it is used to describe the center of politics, economy and culture, where a variety of information is exchanged among the people passing through.

A blend of Western and Eastern influences creates the gentle, welcoming ambiance of the Miyako Hotels. Retreat to the comfort of graciously appointed rooms and suites and enjoy the pleasure of friendly and accomodating service.

Whenever you stay at one of these member hotels, you will find the quality of service and hospitality associated with the Miyako Hotels and Resorts.
