Dear Valued Friend
As 2002 winds to a close, we want to take a brief look at
what's been happening at Hotel Express this year.
We'd also like to take this opportunity to thank all of you
who have been reading our newsletter. If you're getting ready to
celebrate the holidays or to mark the end of another year, we
wish you well and will see you again in 2003.

It's
been a prosperous and successful year for Hotel Express
International. Among the things we are most proud of are
the establishment of an Asian regional office in Japan,
the opening of new offices in the Czech Republic, Japan,
Russia and Spain, and great additional discount deals
such as car rental and airline discounts.
And since the start of the year in January, we have
increased the number of member hotels with 400 to a
total of 3889 hotels. 10 new countries have also been
added to our list since the last directory in June. We
will very soon reach 4000 hotels.
For Hotel Express, 2003 shall be a year of further
developments and great discount deals. We are working on
a range of projects to further improve our program:
Among them Online booking and more detailed hotel
location info. We are looking forward to offering you
these services in the new year.

of the Week - Radisson Sas Royal Hotel, St. Petersburg,
Russia |

Situated
on St. Petersburg's main boulevard, Nevsky Prospect, the
hotel lies in the heart of the city and close to all
major cultural and historical attractions including The
Hermitage and Russian Museum. Dating from 1730, the
building has a colourful history and is thought to be
one of the first erected in this part of the city.
The hotel have 164 rooms, including 17 suites and 2
disabled rooms. All rooms are in classical style with
all modern facilities. The hotel has 7 meeting/function
rooms from 6 up to 24 people with full audio-visual
equipment and facilities. Banquet and cocktails up to
150 people can be accomodated with a combination of
restaurant and adjoining dining rooms.
St. Petersburg, previously known as Leningrad and
Petrograd, was renamed in 1991 and is a magnificent,
haunting city that will leave its spell on anyone who
visits.

Hotel Express Office in the Czech Republic |

| Finally
the long awaited opening of a Hotel Express office in
the Czech Republic is reality. The office, located in
Prague, will open its doors in January 2003.
So if you are a Czech Hotel Express member you can
look forward to being served by our new staff here. They
are happy to assist you with booking for your travels
abroad and answer any questions you may have.
